The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Duanyang Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Chongwu Festival, Dragon Festival, Zhengyang Festival, Tianzhong Festival, etc. The festival takes place on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month and is a traditional Chinese folk festival. The Dragon Boat Festival originated from the celestial cult, and evolved from the dragon sacrifice in ancient times. During the midsummer Dragon Boat Festival, Canglong Qisu flew to Zhengnan Zhongtian, which is the day of Longfeitian, as the fifth line of "Book of Changes and Qian Gua" said: "Flying dragon is in the sky". In May 2006, the State Council included it in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage; since 2008, it has been listed as a national holiday. In September 2009, UNESCO formally approved its inclusion in the "List of Representative Works of Human Intangible Cultural Heritage", and the Dragon Boat Festival became China's first selected non-legacy festival in the world.
